Horses in the wild are prey animals, totally different from us; we are hunters. Therefore, the horse is attentive to its surroundings. At Horseway we have horses that have been born and bred, with horsemanship, at home. They have always been treated in a way that lets them trust people; hence, they are calmer and more communicative with us humans. This characteristic of our horses makes it possible for children to learn in a natural way, through play.

Their games and activities with the horses foster playful learning that connects them both with the horses and themselves.

This is gift for a child’s whole life. It gives them confidence, and respect for others.

Horseway offers for one more year a different camp, with the idea that the children should enjoy themselves. At the same time, the children benefit as their self-respect and confidence grow.

At Horseway we know from experience that few relationships are as sincere, pure, affectionate, and beneficial for both parties as those created between a child and a horse. There is a special magic between them that’s difficult to explain, but we love to witness it!

Horseway offers a camp where the children can enjoy contact with nature and the animals, through games and activities in which the collaboration and wit of their friends, old or new, is the main ingredient to growing their self-esteem and confidence.

They learn all this through contact with the horses, through learning natural taming, how to take care of horses, and how to understand them, to establish a relationship of cooperation.

Thanks to the horses and their playful and experiential pedagogy, combined with special training of the teacher, we empower to learn emotional and social skills by having fun.
